And on Wednesday night, Justin Timberlake said on social media that he was 'deeply honored' to have been included in the celebration.
The former boybander and singer Ant Clemons performed their song Better Days from historic Stax Records in Memphis, Tennessee, for the telecast.

Better Days is a collaboration which the duo released in December.
During their performance, Timberlake and Clemons went out onto the streets and continued to perform at an empty intersection backed by a socially distanced band and gospel choir.
On Twitter and Instagram, the *NSYNC alum wrote: 'Tonight, @AntClemons and I were deeply honored to perform our new song, BETTER DAYS, as a celebration of everything this administration represents.
'There’s a lot of work to do, but I’m feeling hopeful for this country,' he added.
'I hope you all enjoy the performance, and I hope, more than anything, that this song brings a little bit of joy as we move forward.'

The couple are now proud parents of two boys - five-year-old Silas and new baby Phineas.

Timberlake, 39, and Biel, 38, married in 20012 after five years of dating.
It's been reported that the celebrity couple have been living at their Big Sky, Montana, property since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in March.
